He was all this and more, and during his tenure as the top dog of the Medellin Cartel, he was worth an astonishing 25 billion dollars. Here’s the thing-- all that money had to go somewhere. After all, none of the banks wanted to touch all that dirty money. So Escobar hid it away in the walls of his estates, in the floorboards, even underground. And all those millions of millions of dollars are still being found today.
